A Little About the Artwork

I've always loved the personality found in vintage Halloween decorations and illustrations—the expressive pumpkins, unusual faces, wonderful colors, and characters that could be a little spooky and charming at the same time.

That nostalgic Halloween artwork was the inspiration behind this original pumpkin character. With his enormous grin, rounded cheeks, and wonderfully tall party hat, he feels like a character who might have wandered out of an old Halloween decoration and found his way onto the cover of a journal.
