Autumn Treasures: Autumn Wanderings No. 002 — Mini Journal & Ephemera Kit

Warm woodland colors, falling leaves and little touches of nature give Autumn Wanderings No. 002 the feeling of carrying a tiny piece of an autumn afternoon along with you.

This one-of-a-kind Mini Journal & Ephemera Kit was created as a little collection of useful paper treasures—something you can tuck into a journal, keep nearby for everyday notes, or separate and use throughout your creative projects.

At the heart of the set are two handmade long-format mini journals. Their slender shape makes them especially handy for jotting down quick notes, making lists, recording little thoughts and observations, or adding short bits of journaling throughout the day. Like true Junk Journal style, each little journal has notebook paper, some are going up and down and some are going side to side. This variation is random and part of the fun.

Each mini journal has its own pocket containing three coordinating stickers, for a total of six stickers in the set.

I've also included two large handmade journal tags created from heavier-weight scrapbook paper. Each Tag in this set has a coffee dyed strip tag tab at the top that has been stapled on with a small Tim Holtz Tiny Fastener. Each tag is made out of a patterned heavy weight scrapbook paper that colors match our theme.  I have inked around each tag to give it a rustic look.

A coordinating Autumn decorative pen completes the collection.

Everything Has a Place

The entire kit is tucked into an oversized tag-shaped holder that I handmade from heavyweight scrapbook paper. I folded the bottom to create a generous pocket that holds the journals, tags and pen together while also becoming part of the presentation.

Edges throughout the set have been individually inked and distressed to give the papers additional depth and the softly aged character I love.

Because these kits are assembled individually from coordinating papers, fibers and embellishments, each set is unique. The photographs show the exact kit you will receive.
