Some Christmas things seem to carry their own little bit of cheer.

A Little Christmas Cheer is a handmade holiday writing collection filled with pink Christmas trees, old-fashioned ornaments, cozy sweaters, candy canes, gingerbread, snowmen and bits of ribbon and lace — all gathered together in a soft, nostalgic Christmas palette.

At the heart of the set are two long handmade notepads with lined writing pages. Each has been individually decorated with Christmas papers, soft pink corner pockets, layered holiday ephemera and fibers tied through metal eyelets. One carries a gingerbread house, candy cane and vintage-style admission ticket; the other holds a pink Christmas tree, snowman and ticket-style piece.

A coordinating Christmas pen is tucked right between them.

The set also includes a large tag-shaped piece with a pink Christmas-tree pattern on one side and a softly inked writing surface on the reverse, along with loose coordinating Christmas ephemera that can be tucked into the pockets, used in a journal or planner, added to a gift, or moved around simply because you like it somewhere else.

Everything gathers into the oversized handmade tag-shaped holder. Its front pocket is covered in a wonderfully nostalgic pink ornament print, while the reverse is finished in a Christmas typography pattern filled with holiday greetings, snowflakes, stars and familiar bits of Christmas cheer.

The papers have been softly inked around the edges, giving the collection the warm, handled character of something that might have been discovered among Christmas things saved from years before.

Use the notepads for Christmas lists, gift ideas, December reminders, journaling or little notes throughout the season. When you're finished writing, gather the pieces back into their holder and keep them together for the next bit of Christmas planning.

No two handmade pieces settle into place in exactly the same way. Small variations and handmade details are part of their character.
