A gathering of genuinely rusted paper clips, each with its own timeworn character.
I rust these metal clips by hand using my own rusting solution, a recipe I developed and refined over time. The process creates natural variations in color and texture, from warm reddish-brown to deeper, darker rust. No two clips will look exactly alike.
At approximately 2 inches long, these clips are lovely for holding journal tags, attaching ephemera, gathering paper layers, and adding an aged industrial detail to altered books, grungy junk journals, and mixed-media projects.
