A Little Winter Story

There is a special kind of quiet that settles over the woods in winter.

The leaves are gone, the branches stretch against a pale December sky, and everything seems to be waiting for the first soft fall of snow. Indoors, there are warm places to sit, little scraps of ribbon and paper gathered on the table, and Christmas memories waiting to be written down.

Winter Woodland was created with that quieter side of the season in mind.

Soft icy blues and winter whites mingle with warm brown, bare woodland branches and shimmering snowflakes. Tucked among them are little unexpected treasures—a beautiful lady dressed in blue, a butterfly, a cozy chair, a curious kitten and bits of old-fashioned ephemera that feel as though they might have been collected and saved over time.

It is a small collection made for the little things we want to remember at Christmas.

About This Set

Christmas Glow: Winter Woodland is a one-of-a-kind handmade mini journal and ephemera set thoughtfully created by Butterfly in the Attic.

At the heart of the collection are two slender mini journals dressed in soft icy aqua with tiny white dots. Each journal has a deep brown corner tuck pocket filled with coordinating ephemera and is finished at the top with a mixture of softly frayed fabric and ribbon.

Inside are lined writing pages ready for Christmas lists, memories, notes, favorite traditions, little observations—or anything else you would like to tuck away for safekeeping.

The two journals slip into a large tag-shaped holder covered in a beautiful muted aqua woodland paper with creamy bare trees. The softly inked edges give it a timeworn finish and a generous white tag provides additional space for writing, decorating or adding your own collage.

Two oversized coordinating tags accompany the journals: one in icy blue-gray and another covered in delicate white and silver snowflakes. Both have softly aged edges and fabric tabs.

And because every little journal deserves a pen of its own, the collection includes a cheerful Christmas pen wrapped in a tiny holiday print.

The ephemera includes a mix of winter and vintage-inspired imagery such as a lady in a beautiful blue gown, a tiny kitten, butterfly and postal-style pieces, a cozy blue chair, winter florals and other little details selected to complement the collection.
