A Little Autumn Story

The Harvest Post was inspired by the idea of a small bundle of autumn correspondence gathered together at the end of a golden October day.

There are pumpkins and sunflowers, falling leaves and warm harvest colors. A few little paper treasures appear to have made the journey along with them, as though collected from farm stands, country roads and places visited along the way.

Perhaps these journals are waiting for letters.

Perhaps they're meant for memories.

Or perhaps they are simply a good place to keep all those little autumn things that don't seem important until years later, when suddenly they are.

About This Set

Autumn Treasures: The Harvest Post is a one-of-a-kind handmade mini journal and ephemera set created by Butterfly in the Attic.

At the center of the collection are two tall, slender mini journals covered in richly layered autumn papers filled with pumpkins, sunflowers, leaves and harvest imagery.

Warm shades of golden yellow, pumpkin orange, coral, green and soft blue mingle across the covers, giving the journals the feeling of an old-fashioned autumn collage.

Each journal is backed in deep chocolate brown and finished with a contrasting corner tuck pocket—one in rich brown and the other in warm pumpkin orange.

Soft, loosely woven cream fabric is threaded through metal eyelets at the tops, adding the wonderfully frayed and timeworn texture found throughout these little collections.

Inside are lined writing pages, ready for whatever autumn brings.

A Place to Keep Everything

The entire collection slips neatly into a large handmade tag-shaped holder.

The holder is finished in soft ivory with gently inked edges, giving it a subtle aged appearance and allowing the colorful journals to take center stage when they are tucked inside.

A semicircle opening at the front makes the contents easy to reach while still keeping the two journals nestled securely together.

A coordinating autumn pen slips between them, turning the collection into a ready-to-use little writing set.

It is part journal, part stationery bundle and part hiding place for small paper treasures—which seems rather appropriate for something that came From the Hidden Drawer.

Two Oversized Writing Tags

Two large coordinating tags are included for even more room to write, collage and collect.

One is finished in a warm coral-rose tone, while the other has a softly mottled peachy neutral finish. Both have gently inked edges and simple cream fabric tabs.

Turn them over and you'll find generous blank writing surfaces.
